A person gets respite care if the primary caregiver is not around or on leave. So the respite caregiver assists the client with all the duties primary caregivers fulfill. This category includes the following mentioned bellow services.
AC and EW
- Under EW and AC program, the primary caregiver may be:
- Not fully paid
- Only paid for the time when he/ she provides services
- The caregiver doesnโt reside at the same place as the client.
BI, CAC, CADI and DD
- Under BI, CAC, CADI, and DD waivers, the primary caregiver may opt for:
- Maintaining the same residential address as the client
- Be the owner of the primary residence
